Same basic units, different skin

They do not look alike, they are one and the same with parts that are interchangeable. They both come off the same assembly line in Tyler, Texas. There is one difference besides paint color that stands out, price.

Trane is normally higher in cost due to market funding, which is passed down to the dealer and from them to you, the consumer.

Trane has been around since 1913 and is still providing dependable systems and products in either the Trane brand or under the American Standard label. It is nice from the service end that you can interchange parts between the two brands.
